On Sunday, November 12,2023 The Parma Arts Center had their grand opening at their new location. The turnout was outstanding by friends and community supporters. Parma Arts Center boardmembers had displays of thier works and also had set up tables with works to sell.

President Michelle Behal opened with fun facts to take away with you about The Parma Arts Center:
1. We have been serving the Parma and surrounding community for over 60 years.
2. We haven't raised our class prices in 20 years. In fact, we have applied for grants with Cuyahoga Arts and Culture over the past few years to provide low cost and free workshops to the community.

3. We never charge a juried fee to be a part of our shows. We encourage art and believe art should be apprieciated and accepted at all levels.
4. It's been known that when you become a member of the Parma Arts Center, you become family. And It's possible that you will recruit your friends and family to take part in our organization and become part of the Parma Arts Center as well.
Michelle briefly ran a through the history or the Parma Arts Center and how we all felt like we had come home and we are proud to show our permanent collection to the community in one location.

Parma Mayor DeGeeter spoke at the opening as well. The Parma Arts Center is very thankful for having the City of Parma and the Parma Community's support in keeping the arts alive.
We were entertained by the beautiful vocals of Sam Hasselbusch.
